Scarlet Takes a Tumble

LMFAO, truly the most mood lifting regimen. Prozac ain't got shit on SCARLET...TRUST

'New Moon' director will be Chris Weitz

EW, Dec. 11 - "There will be a new director atop the Twilight franchise: and he'll be a man. Sources tell EW.com that Summit Entertainment is about to hire Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) as the shepherd for New Moon, the second installment of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling Twilight series. Weitz is best-known for his work with his brother Paul. The two directed and produced American Pie and then were nominated for an Academy Award for best screenplay for About a Boy, which they also co-directed. Chris' first solo directing gig, The Golden Compass, didn't do well stateside but was a hit internationally."

Courtesey of the awesome Terri Wahl

Prep time:
50 min
Inactive Prep time:
30 min
Cook time:
55 min
Total time:
2 hr 15 min

Directions
For the cupcakes:
Ingredients
15 1/2 ounces all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
13 ounces granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
3 eggs
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons red food coloring
1 1/4 teaspoons vinegar (white or apple cider can both work)
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 cup water

For the cream cheese frosting:
1 1/2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature
1 pound butter, room temperature
2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

For the cupcakes:
Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder into a bowl and set aside.
In a mixer fitted with paddle attachment, mix oil, sugar, and buttermilk until combined. Add eggs, food coloring, vinegar, vanilla and water and mix well. Add the dry ingredients a little bit at a time and mix on low, scraping down sides occasionally, and mix until just combined. Be sure not to over mix, or the batter will come out tough.
Line a 16-cup cupcake pan with paper liners, scoop the batter into the liners and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

For the cream cheese frosting:
Whip the butter and cream cheese together in a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment until creamed. Gradually add powdered sugar to the mixture and scrape down the bowl as needed. Add the vanilla and mix until combined.
The frosting can be used right away, or stored in the refrigerator up to a week.
Frost cooled cupcakes with the cream cheese frosting.

HAPPY FEASTING!!!

The PLOT Thickens!!!

Yessir, this is another Twilighter POST. Some broad had the audacity to to write an article about C. Hardwicked (typo but im keeping it!) getting shit canned cause she is a woman. WTF? Aaaanyfemenism, im posting here in case she moderates my respose:

"Eh, to say she got fired cause "she is" a woman is an overstatement. Harwicke did not earn Summit $140 mil., STEPHENIE MEYER did. The Saga's loyal fanbase is to thank for the success. And why not reward the fans with a better directed sequel in timely manner before the actors get older? (Vampires dont age). If any of you READ the series, you will see how badly this movie was adapted. Not to forget to mention letting Stewart rephrase as she pleased. Though she is truly to thank for the casting of Robert, she really shouldn't be calling the shots as far as re-writing the book/script. Her portrayal of Bella was also pitiful. Bella can't be vulnerable and talk/walk like a man. What a load of crap. The best thing to come out of the movie was seeing all the characters come to life. With that said, like the HP movies, Summit is in the right by moving forward with the project and giving another director a chance to bring the saga to life."

Yeah i know, i so so nice girl. Seriously, 9 times outta 10 the gender card gets played to shadow poor performance. Good luck to Hardwicke on her furture endeavors.

PhotoCHOPERS : Jessica Alba for Campari

Truly Glorious! She is still ridiculously good looking, but this makes me feel happy so there betch! OK so like, is it safe to say i like the original better? The xtras look good on her ^_^

Catherine Hardwicke is OFF "New Moon"

Summit Entertainment and director Catherine Hardwicke jointly announced today that the filmmaker will not be directing the next installment in the newly minted Twilight film franchise. Summit’s targeted end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the film, New Moon, does not work with Ms. Hardwicke’s required prep time to bring her vision of the film to the big screen. Thus as has been done before with many successful film franchises, the studio will employ a new director for New Moon.

“I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct New Moon,” said Hardwicke. “Directing Twilight has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel– it is a great story.”

“Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the
Twilight franchise and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. “We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch.”

PHAT UPDTATE:
BETCH got the PINK SLIP handed to her!
“The word from inside Summit is that Hardwicke, the acclaimed ‘Thirteen’ director, was ‘difficult’ and ‘irrational’ during the making of ‘Twilight.’” Another source revealed, “Summit didn’t like her. They’re saying the DP [director of photography] Elliot Davis is the one responsible for the film’s sumptuous visual look, that the editor Nancy Richardson had to save the film in post-production, and Summit thought Hardwicke’s [CAA] agent Beth Swofford was alternately ineffectual and hysterical [when it came to controlling her client].”

Music = Life: Breaking Benjamin "Diary of Jane" (accoustic)

Yuppers, another repeat mode. ENJOY!!!

If I had to
I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask
Would you like that? Would you like that?
And I don't mind
If you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask
Do you like that? Do you like that?
No

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be
Try to find out what makes you tick
As I lie down
Sore and sick
Do you like that? Do you like that?
There's a fine line between love and hate
And I don't mind
Just let me say that I like that
I like that

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be

Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love
Die for anyone
What have I become

Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my placeIn the diary of Jane
